August 20
th, 2010 was a crazy day in the life of Ethan Moore. He had his tonsils and
adenoids removed. He keeps strep throat and even back in January developed
PSGN from it. His Pediatric
ENT at Memorial in Savannah (Dr. Michael Poole) thought it would be best to remove
everything in hopes that it will end the strep infections and keep his kidneys from getting any worse so he can be well on his way to recovery. His Pediatric
Nephrologist at
MCG in Augusta (Dr. Louis Ortiz) agreed and so that's what we did. Pray that it was all worth it!!! He is
doing well and actually doesn't even act as if he just had surgery. He was eating roast and potatoes the
next day!! :-)
