Josh Kelley Concert---A Blast!!

August 28 at The Bell Auditorium in Augusta, GA. We had a great time. We started out the evening with a nice diner at Logan's Steakhouse and then went over to the concert. Being that Josh Kelley is originally from Augusta it seemed as if he had a different vibe. He had a great time performing and we certainly had a great time watching. He also had a new guy from Covington, GA named Corey Crowder open for him. He sang nine songs and we liked them all so I have to give props to Corey Crowder. Great Show!!! Forgive me for forgetting my camera and having to get these photos from my cell phone. LOL!

Ethan had his tonsils out!!

August 20th, 2010 was a crazy day in the life of Ethan Moore. He had his tonsils and adenoids removed. He keeps strep throat and even back in January developed PSGN from it. His Pediatric ENT at Memorial in Savannah (Dr. Michael Poole) thought it would be best to remove everything in hopes that it will end the strep infections and keep his kidneys from getting any worse so he can be well on his way to recovery. His Pediatric Nephrologist at MCG in Augusta (Dr. Louis Ortiz) agreed and so that's what we did. Pray that it was all worth it!!! He is doing well and actually doesn't even act as if he just had surgery. He was eating roast and potatoes the next day!! :-)

Josh Kelley Concert...in Augusta...We are Going!!

Josh Kelley will perform at the Fourth Annual Young Philanthropist event Aug. 28, 2010, at Augusta’s Bell Auditorium.

The concert will benefit the John W. Kelley, M.D., Cardiovascular Endowment, which was established to honor Josh’s father, who retired from the Augusta medical community in March 2006 after practicing cardiology in the CSRA for 28 years.

Singer/songwriter Josh Kelley grew up in Augusta and discovered his musical talents at age 11, when he started a band with his younger brother, Charles Kelley (now one third of the Grammy Award-winning country music trio Lady Antebellum). Josh recently joined the Universal Music Group Nashville family, signing with MCA Nashville in September 2009. He is currently in the studio recording his first country album and is expected to release his debut single later this year. He is married to Katherine Heigl of Grey's Anatomy, 27 Dresses, Knocked Up fame. They have one daughter Naliegh whom they adopted from South Korea. Josh is originally from Evans, GA and is a graduate of Lakeside High School.
